Terms of use

These terms apply to Bébie Journal, the app at bebie-journal.app(“we”, “us”). You can write to us at team@bebie-journal.app. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

What Bébie Journal is

A journal for a baby’s days (feeding, sleep, nappies, growth and the foods a baby has tried) with recipes for babies and young children, and optional features that use artificial intelligence: voice entries, questions for Bébie, meal ideas and a prediction of the day’s rhythm. It is for parents and caregivers aged 18 or over.

Not medical advice

Everything in the app (predictions, recipes, food guidance and Bébie’s answers) is general information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a paediatrician, a nurse or any other health professional. If you are worried about your baby’s health, contact a health professional; in an emergency, call your local emergency number. Check every recipe against your baby’s age and allergies, and never leave a baby alone while eating.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
• You are responsible for what you record, and for whom you invite to share it. You can remove anyone’s access at any time.
• You can delete your account, and everything in it, from the app at any time.

Plans and payment

Bébie Journal has a free plan and a paid plan, Plus. What each includes, and the current prices, are on the pricing page.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments are also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.

• Free trial. Plus starts with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before it ends, you are not charged.
• Renewal. Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Prices include tax where it applies.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in the app, under Profile → Plan → Manage subscription. Plus then stays on until the end of the period already paid for, and the account continues on the free plan. Nothing you recorded is deleted.
• Price changes. If the price of Plus changes, we tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Fair use

Please do not misuse the app: do not try to reach other people’s data, disrupt the service, copy or resell it, or use it for anything unlawful. The AI features have reasonable limits on how often they can be used, so that they stay fast for everyone.

Your data

What you record belongs to you. We store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. A copy of it is yours for the asking.

AI features

Answers, transcriptions of voice entries, meal ideas and predictions are produced automatically and can be wrong. Treat them as suggestions, and check anything important with a professional.

Changes and availability

We keep improving the app, so features can change. We work to keep it available, but cannot promise that it will always run without interruptions or errors. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change applies.

Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made on the strength of the app’s general information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
